Description of service
The doctor that I went to removed the tattoo in three sessions at $500 per session. It was a laser removal. He used a local topical antestetic that he rubbed over the area and then went over it with a gel then the laser. Each treatment lasted for about forty five minutes and the tattoo got lighter each time until you could no longer see the color after the final treatment. The laser had a warm feel to it and it was painless until after the treatment was over with when it felt like a burn for a few days.
Review of Service
The quality was great. You can not even tell that there used to be a tattoo there now. The doctor really knew what he was doing. There is a slight skin discoloration from the laser but it is not noticable unless you already know it is there. The doctor was great about explaining the procedure before we began treatment and then telling me what each step was.
Tips
Ask about payment arrangements. Most insurances will not cover procedures like these so if you want it done you have to pay cash. The doctors know this so most will work out something with you or allow you to come in for the treatments as you can afford them.
