Description of service
I bought a pontoon boat at an auction house for a present for my father. He loved being out on the lake and just enjoying the water and the scenery so I opted to buy him this present and to pay the dock fee for him for the first year. During the spring I launched the boat into the water at the dock for $400.00 for the spring and end of summer. With prompt instructions to remove the boat at the end of the summer so the waters would not freeze any pipes or mess with the boat in any way.
Review of Service
The crew at the dock made sure to keep unwanted guests away from the boats. We had tickets to claim our boats so you could not steal another man's boat. The crew were very careful with the boats. They took great pride in their reputation. After all you spend all this money on a boat and the last thing you want is for it to get messed up while in the care of someone else. Of course you sign a waiver for damages done to your boat. I was very skeptical about that, but upon watching the crew I was okay with signing the waiver. They took great care of my dad's boat.
Tips
I would never go with just the cheapest dock, I'd be more than willing to pay more if it meant the boat was taken care of while I was away. I'd never trust my property with just anyone. You have to trust the person and if for any reason you have doubts, take your boat somewhere else.
