Description of service
I rented a spot to dock my boat at a local marina, but I only did so for one month because it was very expensive and I was planning on using the boat elsewhere. $600 was for the use of the spot for 30 days. I was able to leave my boat without having to take it out of the water which was very convenient since my family could just walk to the dock and hop into the boat. The $600 was for just one month at a small local dock where three small boats would park in one large spot. I figured it was worth the savings in money to have a tighter spot to park the boat. It only made it a little tricky to park the boat and pull it out.
Review of Service
The marina had security which was nice so I could leave the ski equipment in the boat and not have to carry it back to the cottage. The staff were very friendly. This dock didn't offer free parking like the larger marinas did, but since we would always walk to the boat it wasn't really a problem for us. Again it was a way to save some money.
Tips
It can get expensive to have a place to park your boat, so don't just jump at the first spot you find. You might just save a few dollars if you look a little out of the way.
