Description of service
Mt motorcycle had started making a lot of noise. At larger speeds, strange sounds appeared from the chain of the bike. But at lower speeds, everything was fine. So i took my bike to the authorized service center. The mechanic did the needful. I was charged $50 for the entire process.
Review of Service
I was quite satisfied with the entire process. The only thing that i did not like was the unusually large amount of time taken by the service center; and i believe that the delay, that took more than three hours, could have been easily avoided.
The mechanic oiled the chain perfectly and made some other minor adjustments. He also reapired the chain cover that had been damaged at couple of places.
Tips
Firsly, visit only that service center or the garage which you trust. Secondly, always ask the mechanic about the tentative cost of the repairs before hand and if you believe that the cost is too high, do check out the prices at other places. Always ask the mechanic about the details of the whole process including what exactly he has done. If you need to buy any new parts, prefer the authorized service center as they always offer the genuine accessories.
