Description of service

My bike had recently beenin a small accident. As a result the handle had got a bit twisted. In order to save a few dollars, i took my bike to a local roadside garage to get it repaired, instead of taking it to an authorized service center. I was charged $40 for the job. I had to visit the garage twice to get the fault corrected.

Review of Service

I believe that the quality of service that i received was not good. On the first visit, the twisted handle was rectified but after a few days i realized that though the handle had been straightened, there was some problem with the head light beam. Instead of falling straight onto the road ahead, the beam was swayed to the left. As a result, i had to visit the mechanic again. But finally, the fault was corrected.

Tips

Although i myself went to a local mechanic, i suggest that for any major repairs, you should never visit any place except the company owned or authorized service stations. For small faults that do not require any tampering of the engine, one can go in for a local garage as that proves to be a much cheaper option.
