Description of service
Last summer my motorcycle broke down and would not start back up. The engine wouldn't even crank, so i had it hauled to the mechanics to be repaired. Unfortunetly, my bike was no longer under warranty, I had to pay the full price of having the engine replaced. With parts, labor and taxes the total came up to about $650. The mechanics shop had the bike fixed in just over a day (they had to order a part) and I was back on the rode.
Review of Service
The service was good, my bike is up and running, but I can't help but think that I was ripped off. After telling some of my motorcycle having friends how much I paid, they kind of laughed at me and told me I overpaid. I guess i should have called around before going to the manufacturers designated shop. I can't complain too much because my bike is running like new again, and paying the $650 didn't hurt my bank account too bad.
Tips
If you are under warranty, take your bike to the place you bought it from to have it fixed (it will be free). If you're not under warranty, try calling around to different places to find a good deal.
