Description of service
Recently had an antique quilt cleaned and blocked and wrapped for storage for the summer at a local dry cleaners. The cost was $45.00. It took 2 weeks for them to have the quilt back. They sent it to their main store in another town. The price was comparable to other dry cleaners.
Review of Service
The service was good. The people were polite and professional. They looked over the quilt for any tears or stains so that they could be fixed or cleaned. Also to note any areas they could not fix. They guaranteed their work. All in all the quality of the service was good. The store itself was small but fairly clean. Could have been cleaner. I didn't find out until later that dry cleaning items were sent out and done in their main store in the larger town. That is why it took two weeks for them to get the quilt back to me. When I picked up the quilt, it was folded nicely and well wrapped. Unfortunately I had to take it out of the wrapping to check for any faults. There were none and the employee help me refold the quilt and wrap it back. I was pleased with the service.
Tips
When having any item dry cleaned, it is a good idea to go over the item with the cleaners and check for any tears, stain, or whatever. This way you are covered for the item if it comes back harmed.
