Description of service
The price paid for a mobile dry-cleaning service (free pickup and delivery with next-day service) on a king sized down comforter. Comforters and blankets of all sizes were $20, down comforters and fancy blankets were extra.
Like other dry cleaning companies, this one will dry cleans everything from dress shirts and blouses to area rugs and, they also do regular laundry, as well as ironing and starching of shirts and sheets.
Review of Service
The service was excellent. My comforter was starting to smell a bit funky, and it wouldn't fit in my washer so I decided to have it professionally cleaned. $30 was a bit more than I'd hoped to pay, but they did come get it and return it to me the next day, perfectly clean and fluffy. I'd give them a 9/10 for what they do, and though I certainly would consider using them for a deep cleaning of my area rugs, I probably wouldn't otherwise use the service again as it's too expensive for my needs.
If I had a lot of stuff to clean all at once and was so busy that it would be hard for me to keep track of everything, say just before a cross country move or something, I'd use them again. Or maybe if I was on a business trip and the hotel didn't offer dry cleaning service.
But other than that, I'll stick with my corner dry cleaning shop as their prices are about 1/3 less, the quality of the cleaning is about the same, and I can pick up my clothes on the way back from work.
Tips
It's hard to go wrong with a dry cleaning place these days, so try out a few and see whose service you like best. You can expect to pay more for faster service (1 hour or while you wait and such) or for pickup and delivery at your home or hotel, though it may be worth it to you.
