Description of service
I took a queen-sized cotton quilt, along with one of my business suits and blouse, as well as a scarf to the dry cleaner for general cleaning. The blouse had some obvious soiled spots along the cuffs of the sleeves and on the collar, and there was some type of spot on the skirt. Also, the quilt was generally dirty from household pets. The cost for the quilt was $22, the suit was $8, the blouse was $4 and the scarf was $4.
Review of Service
I was promised all of the items within 2 days, but told that the quilt would take about a week to clean. That was fine. I went back 3 days later to pick up the finished items and noticed that the cuffs of the white blouse were not completely clean. The spot on the skirt was removed and the scarf was clean, but I asked them to redo the blouse and they agreed. Instead of taking some items, I waited to pick up everything together about a week later. At that time, the blouse was cleaned properly and I was very satisfied with the quilt. It came out looking nice and it smelled fresh and clean the way it should.
Tips
Check all of your items for problem areas before you drop them at the cleaners and make sure that you look at everything before you take it home. They will redo items if they were not done correctly the first time. Also don't be afraid to change cleaners; there are so many of them and there is no reason to go to a substandard facility.
