Description of service
This is the price I used to pay for my silk wrap nails to be filled in. I would go approximately every three weeks. The place I went did not require an appointment and I usually did not have to wait very long. The nail salon also offered acrylic nails, manicures, pedicures, gels, and massages. The price included everything except tip, and I generally would tip about four or five dollars. My nails would be filled in, my hands massaged, nails polished, and then dried under a nail dryer.
Review of Service
I had silk nails on for about one year. I was very happy with the service at this salon. The people there were very nice and efficient; the prices were reasonable. However, I had to take the silk nails off because a fungus began growing under one of the artificial nails. Many salons will offer a nail kit that includes the file and other items that you can bring with you to prevent the spread of germs. I had one of these kits, yet many people don't realize that these kits do not prevent fungi! It was quite disgusting and I only get manicures now!
Tips
Make sure your salon is clean. Also, watch for changes in nail color if you wear artificial nails on a long term basis; this is a sign of nail fungus.
