the Price of Silk Wrap Nails

The nails were 25 dollars and I gave the nail technician a five dollar tip. I had silk wrap nails. I did not get them hand painted that was an extra five dollars.

This was my first and will be my only time having this done. It might unfair to silk wrap nails in general because my bad experience was much more with the nail saloon I went to than the actual nails. I was really surprised and appalled by how dirty it was in there. They were using the same files and materials on different people instead of new materials for each person like I"m used to when I get other nail work done. My nails came out looking terrible. It was embarrassing. I also had trouble getting my nails clean of all the gunk they put on them. I did still tip because I felt obligated to do so.

Ask around! Ask friends or co-workers to recommend a place that does good work. If you're unhappy, don't be a doof like I was - refuse to pay! Tell them you're unhappy. Check the place out before you make an appointment. Go in person and look around and make sure it's a place you feel comfortable giving your money to.
