Description of service
This was for a full set of silk wrap nails on a set of nails that had never been done before- no manicures ever!
Review of Service
This was done at one of the ritzier nail salons in the city, as I had a gift certificate- the price is pretty high, but it was worth it.
They prepped my nails really carefully, and it looked like it took them forever to apply the wraps but it didn't take very long... the person who did it was very fast, but percise. She looked like she had been doing it a long time, which is a good thing- if you have irregularly shaped nails the last thing you want is someone who is going to 'practice' on you!
I appreciated that she took some time at the end to explain to me how I should care for them and keep them in good shape as long as possible; I felt silly never having had tips put on before, and a bit like a hick but she was really really nice about it.
Great and I'd go back again... but I'll probably ahve to find a cheaper place. Oh, nail tech also said to come back if I had any problems in the next week and she would look after them free of charge. Which I thought was very good business practice.
Tips
Go on word of mouth! Prices are definitely NOT the only indicator of quality. In addition, you want a place that is very clean and sanitary.
