the Price of Silk Wrap Nails

During my sons' baseball tournament last week, another mom and I slipped away during a practice session, to have our nails "done". We had heard that 2 or more people would get a slight discount, so we had our services put on the same ticket and then split the cost down the middle after we got out to the car. $64 included both of us getting silk wrap nails with designs.

This is one of those places where the music was horrible, but only those over 30 seemed to mind. Oh, well. We both had the shorter, more natural looking length done, with black and red two toned nails and rhinestone letters spelling out the baseball team's name. This was definately done on the spur of the moment and we normally would've never been so outgoing with the designs, but it was right before the semi final game, so why not?

I think we would've been better off to call ahead and make an appointment, but in our situation, it was so spur of the moment that it wasn't possible. Luckily, we both had it in our minds the type of design we wanted to have done while at the same time making our nails look "nice".
