the Price of Silk Wrap Nails

This price included a new full set of silk mail wraps and a french manicure. Total time 1 hour. The nail salon I went to takes walk-ins, as I believe most do. Basically silk nail wraps are similar to an acrylic nail. Instead of applying layers of acrylic over the nail tip, the technician places a small silk screen and then applies a small amount of acrylic over the top. Drying time is a bit little longer but the nail polish and nail last much longer. I did not need to go for a fill until almost 3 weeks later. The nail is not so big were you notice where the silk and natural nail meet.

I really enjoyed the silk wrap. I felt the quality was much better than a full acrylc nail. I find that the silk wrap nail looks more like a natural nail. Not too thin and more natural in shape. I also found my french manicure lasted much longer. Almost 2 weeks! Personally I will stick to silke from here on out. Well worth the few extra bucks.

Moisturize cuticles before going to the salon. Never worry about making an appointment. Most nail salons take walk-ins. Make sure to look for a salon who includes a french manicure or polish with a full set.
