the Price of Youth Basketball

There was a very small organization in my neighborhood that used to organize basketball leagues at a very small scale. My son recently joined one of these leagues and continued it for slightly more than a month. I had to pay $80 for the entire league. The fee included the cost of a team tee as well. There were 5 games in all.

I believe that the coaching and other support staff did a very good job. My son enjoyed the activity so much. Also very little time had to be devoted. The duration of daily practice was a little more than an hour and each game was scheduled after almost a week.

Before enrolling for any basketball league, make sure that that particular league has at least some good history. Do some inquire about the league from those who are already its members. Also make sure that your child has some idea of what he will go through after joining the league. The batch should be such that it suits the needs of the child. Do not enroll in a group in which the already existing children are much better than your own child. In short, you must provide the best environment to your child.
