the Price of Youth Basketball

This is the price we paid for our son to be a part of a local youth basketball team. The price included uniforms, trophy, banquet, and all other fees associated with the league. The only extra expense we encountered was for pictures. The boys practiced once a week and had a game once per week. The games and practices all took place at the same venue, which was very convenient for us.

This was truly a great experience for my son. He had always wanted to play basketball, but we could never find a league for kids his age. This was the first year he was old enough to play. The coach was great and really started teaching the kids basketball skills and fundamentals. Some of the kids were slightly older, but they really helped my son to feel comfortable on the court. Overall, this was a great price for the instruction and experience he received.

Ask other parents if they know of any youth basketball leagues in your area. In many cases, church leagues are the best route because they emphasize fun, teamwork, and friendship. If you are looking for a more competitive league, see if there is an basketball youth association in your area.
