Description of service
We paid to have hardwood floors installed in our foyer and a small bathroom downstairs. We checked several companies in the area. It was approx. 180 SF total that was installed. It was an all day job (about 7 hours) with a crew of three men.
Review of Service
The service was excellent, we had covered all the furniture prior to their arrival to avoid the mess of installing the floors. The installation was done in about 7 hours, there was a lot of dust and clean up but the installation crew did it all. The floors look beautiful, we are very happy with the end result.
Tips
If you have the company measure before you have the floors installed you may want to verify their measurements. When we checked their estimate, they had estimated about 30% higher in square footage than we actually had, which would have cost a lot more money and resulted in purchased flooring that we would not have any use for. The bottom line is trust but verify.
Also, they advertised an "installed" price for the flooring, but you may want to verify what is included, if there are extra costs for removing old flooring or installing a new sub floor.
