the Price of Hardwood Floor Installation

I paid $1000 to have hardwood floor installed in my dining room and living room. It took almost 5 hours and was probably around 250 square feet. They first removed my old flooring and then even disposed of it for me. I went through and independent contractor and he helped me select the floor I wanted to purchase.

The floor looks amazing and beautiful. They cleaned up the work area after they were done and I didn't have to come home to a disaster of a mess. I think the job was done very quickly and it was a good price for the amount of work that was done. The crew arrived on time and actually finished the job sooner than anticipated.

I made sure to clear out my rooms completely and got a second opinion on the estimate. I measured the floors myself so I would know about how much money I was going to spend and so it wouldn't be a total shock to me. It's good to do a quick estimate yourself so you know you aren't going to get scammed. Be prepared to also pay for the cost of supplies and you might have to pay for your old floor to be removed and disposed.
