the Price of a Pediatric Cavity Filling

My son had a cavity filled. All kids and family dental and orthodontic procedures including emergency care, referrals, general questions and appointments, routine cleanings, fillings, check-ups, diagnostics, and testing.

I did not like this dentist at all. It was the third time I had taken my son there, and I couldn't put my finger on exactly what I didn't like, so I kept bringing him back. The dentist spoke with a heavy accent, as did most of his staff, making it extremely difficult for my six-year-old son to understand him. He was not very personable and re-assuring, which frightened my son, and he did not really have the right demeanor to be working with children, in my opinion. He did not clearly explain the reasons he was doing what he did, and did not put much effort into answering the questions of myself or my son. While the procedure was fairly painless for my six-year-old, it was scary to see the needles coming at him for the novocaine, and he was unprepared for it. The dentist also did not give any further advice for proper brushing and flossing to eliminate any further cavities in the future. He was in and out and very brusque.

You don't have to know exactly why you don't like a particular dentist to move on--if you don't get an easy feeling from him or her, don't be afraid to look elsewhere for dental care.
