Description of service
We have pretty good dental insurance benefits and our patient responsibility was only $34 to get a filling done on my 2 1/2 year old. We have 80/20 coverage.
Review of Service
We went to a local dentist and were referred to a pediatric dentist in the cities. My little boy gets very shy around strangers so I was extremely nervous to even take him in to the dentist in the first place. I never thought that they would be able to even get him to open his mouth.
When we arrived it had a decent little play area for the kids, however it didn't seem very clean and sanitary.
The receptionist was ok, she was not overly excited or friendly, I think maybe it was just a job for her nothing more than that. She showed me where to sign and had me take a seat.
We waited quite a while until it was finally our turn to come in.
The childrens room was cute and fun. The Dentist was wonderful. He came in and was so good with my little boy I was just shocked. he got him to open his mouth, then he had my son sit on my lap for the filling. I was expecting it to be painful just like when I would get one done so I was scared for him. The whole thing once we were in there took about 10 minutes.
He had him pick out a little nose that smelled like strawberries and wear it, then hook the laughing gas up, gave me some tips on how I don't ask him to do something but rather tell him.
Then it was all over lickety split!
