Dentist for my child who had a cavity. This included the dentist visit, the laughing gas, and the cavity filling.
Review of Service
The dentist was extremely nice to my daughter. He talked on her level and made her feel comfortable with having the procedure done. After he made her feel comfortable, he applied the laughing gas mask to her face. She was very comfortable during the procedure. He was quick but accurate in what he did. When using the loud machines, he was sure to talk and calm my daughter while it was happening. He also had a great nurse helping him who made eye contact with my daughter the entire time.He stopped midway through when she was getting agitated and calmed her down again before proceeding. The whole process took only about an hour. The dentist also was very informative on what I should look for, as in side effects, later in the day. He had a great handout that helped.
Tips
The best tip I can advise is to check out the pediatric dentists in your area. Go in for a one on one and see how they interact with your child. If the dentist pays close attention to your child's fears and needs, he will be a great asset to your dental health care line up. A child who trusts and is comfortable with their dentist is more likely to have better visits and better dental care.
