Description of service
The service was boarding our cat while we went on our annual Spring Break trip. We usually try to find neighbors to cat sit but were unsuccessful this year so we had to resort to paying for boarding. We went to our local vet's and they charge $20 a night. The service includes regular feedings and play time during the day. I believe the cat gets three 1/2 hour play time sessions throughout the day.
Review of Service
We were pleased with the service itself and the cat seemed healthy and happy upon our return. It just was pricey paying $20 a night. We would have much rather left it with friends but couldn't find any willing to take it in. I guess we cannot complain about the quality of service at all- just its price.
Tips
I guess my number one tip would be to make sure you trust the place you board it at. I recommend a vet over some pet store or other non-vet service. A vet you can trust and be assured your cat or dog (or whatever other pet) is healthy upon your return. I figure you are going to pay at least $15 a night anywhere you go, might as well throw in an extra $5 or so to get a vet instead of a pet store.
