the Cost of Home Audio Repair

There was some serious problem with the audio system. The cd-rom was not opening. Pressing the required button did not help and even the cd that was inside the audio system was not working. In short, the music system was not working; but still i could use the radio feature. So i called up the required store who charged me $50 for the whole service. This included the cost of picking the system and dropping it back to my place.

The shopkeeper told me that the cd had burst inside the the music system. This was due to the poor quality of the cd. He cleaned the entire cd-rom and advised me not to use such cheap pirated cds in future.

I believe that the service offered to me was quite good. However, i did not like the amount of time he took to repair the system. But overall, the service was quite good at the price that i had paid for it.

Always prefer a shop that is certified to carry out such repairs. Also, do check if the system is still covered under guarantee or warranty period. If any new parts are to be used, do inquire about the cost of those parts from other places as well.
