Description of service
I had a home audio technician come out to our home because the sound in our surround sound was going in and out, it was not consistantly giving us a good output. The $250 broke down into a $75 mandatory diagnostic service fee that just gets the technician out to your home. $75 for replacement parts, some of the wiring from our receiver needed to be replaced. The other $100 was labor, our wiring runs through the ceiling of our home and the technician had to crawl into our attic to check the wires.
Review of Service
The service was great, the technician checked all our our equipment to make sure everything was working properly. He was prompt and on time to our scheduled appointment. He was very informative and made sure to explian everything to us. The best thing about the service was that the technician was trained properly and new exactly what needed to be done to repair our home audio. For the price we paid for our surround sound system, i feel this was a great deal. The repair will keep our system running for much longer and a new home audio system is unneccessary.
Tips
I would suggest having a well known company come out and repair your system. Some indiviidual technicians have their own business and i just feel that large companies properly train their people to properly repair your home audio system.
