the Cost of One Time Housekeeping Service

I hired a service to clean my home before I moved in. The house was two years old and was the builders home but was never lived in. There are 4 bathrooms and four bedrooms including a kitchen, living room and dining room. It is a large house with two floors. I did not have time to clean before I move in.

Service was very good! The entire house was spotless from top to bottom. The windows inside and out were cleaned, as was the moulding at the baseboards and ceiling. Three women cleaned the house for the total price paid. The kitchen floor was washed and waxed, it was shining! Counter tops, vents and under everything was cleaned. The cleaning crew even told me of structural issues they found while cleaning, such as an opening where the molding and the slider door meet. Also, a railing spindle was loose. I appreciate that kind of attention to detail and being informed. I was extremely pleased with the service.

1. Seek referals from people whom you trust or who have used the service before.

2. Interview the person( s) to get a feeling for their honesty. Go with your gut instinct, it usually is correct!

3. Settle on a price and specific cleaning that needs to be done. Dont leave anything vague. If you have unusual requests, put iot in writing.

4. Do not pay until you are completely satisfied with the quality of the work. If it is exceptional, feel free to tip for great service.
