the Cost of Replacing a Car Windshield

I had to replace my windshield, because it was cracked. It was cracked by a rock flying up and hitting my windshield. I was really upset.

I took my car and had the people to look at it, they said it would cost $130.00 to fix it. I had just gotten my tax money back, so I thought I better get it fixed. Especially while I had the money. I was pleased with the service and price. It was worth it to me, that was windshield, labor and all. Not bad, huh? I didn't think so. I was glad to have a normal looking car again.

Don't follow big trucks too close. Rocks or anything can fly up and hit your car. I was lucky, I didn't get hurt. Following too close will cause this to happen. So therefore it was my fault, and I paid the price. I have learned a hard lesson. But, believe me I know longer follow to close. I keep my distance. That was a hard lesson learned. When they say keep your distance do it, or you will wind up like me. You will end up getting your windshield cracked and having to replace it. My insurance didn't cover it, so I had to pay out of pocket. I would much have rather went shopping with that money. But, at least I had it, to pay it. I was really thankful for my tax money, it couldn't have come at a better time.
