Description of service
The other day a rock bounced and hit my windshield while driving on the highway. This created a medium crack in my window which was livable with, until the crack kept growing until it started to spider out making it difficult to see while driving. Rather than getting a $300 ticket I chose to pay the $300 to replace the windshield. In getting quotes they were all within about $20 of each. They came to my house with the windshield in the bed of their truck and did the replacement job in my driveway. The cost included the free mobile service and a limited lifetime warranty.
Review of Service
I had to call and schedule an appointment which was scheduled for four days later at my house. They showed up about thirty minutes late, but luckily I had no where to go at the time. They did everything in my driveway in just under 45 minutes. I was a bit concerned about the seal of the new window, but it has been just fine in the last rain storm I drove in. Other than the money it was nice because I really didn't have to do much.
Tips
It's fairly easy to get a quote for such a service, but they don't seem to vary too much. However $20 saved is at least something so I suggest you look around at a couple places first if possible.
