Description of service
One morning I got in my car go to work and discovered that someone had thrown a brick through my windshield. We looked for an auto glass repair place that would use a salvaged windshield so we could get a discounted price. My insurance deductible was $1,000 so we knew we would be paying for the repairs out of pocket so it was important for us to cut costs wherever possible. Once we found a repair place willing to work with us on the price we took the car in and they replaced the window and we were allowed to pick the car up the next day although we had to leave the tape on for several days over to help ensure that the window would stay in place and seal properly. The process was simple as that!
Review of Service
The quality of service we recieved was excellent. This particular business was more than willing to work with us on the price of the window. The price of the labor was not negotiable but at least they were willing to work with us on the cost of the window. They got my car in quickly and it was also returned quickly.
Tips
My advice would be to shop around if you have the time. I know a car without a windshield is not of much use however you can save yourself some money if you are willing to ask people to negotiate the price of the glass. We were glad we did as it resulted in us saving about $50 overall which to us it was well worth it.
