Description of service
My daughter recently had to have her wisdom teeth removed. All four were to be surgically taken. She would be put to sleep while the surgeon removed them. The cost was extremely high but the dental surgeon came highly recommended and really took an interest in his patients. He would require a pre visit to his office to examine and take x rays. Then he would schedule for mid week. All costs had to be paid up front with you filing your own insurance. The cost included post visits to take the stitches out and a follow up visit after that.
Review of Service
The service was excellent. The staff and the doctor were efficient and kind to both my daughter and myself. While she was in having the teeth removed they served me coffee and kept me informed. The procedure took about 3 hours, this included keeping her at the office to make sure the medications caused no problems. After about 3 hours, she was brought out in a wheelchair very groggy. I was given instructions that she could not eat until evening and then only liquids or jello. The gave me pain killers to give her once the medicine wore off. That evening the doctor called to check up on her. He then personally called each day to check on her. Her procedure went great.
Tips
Always check the doctor out with the dental association. Know your costs up front and look carefully at the office and staff.
