Description of service
I had my four wisdom teeth removed. They were giving me horrible migranes and although my dentist assured me it had nothing to do with my wisdom teeth after my surgery my migranes were gone! I insisted on an x-ray and it turned outmy wisdom teeth were coming out and that might be causing discomfort. I was sent to a specialist who performed surgery because my surgery was going to be a little more challenging. My two bottom ones were being somewhat blocked by bones so they had to cut through the bone in order to get them out. My insurance covered most of it, I ended up paying $632 out of my own pocket. Eac tooth extraction was $425. I didn't have any extra fees or gratuities. I was however charges an extra $150 because my doctor had to add an extra 15 ml of pain killer without my knowledge.
Review of Service
I must say I went in very scared because of things I had heard regarding infections but the doctor made me feel very secure and reassured me of all my worries, he made me feel very comfortable to be doing this procedure.
Tips
I would definately recommed doing your own reasearch. My doctor was very impressed at the questions I asked, he told me they were really good questions that no one has ever asked him. Also if you feel something is not right insist on getting something done about it and go with your instinct. I was told my migranes had nothing to do with my wisdom teeth but I have not felt them since the surgery and I'm pretty sure it has a lot to do with the surgicak removal of them. I stayed confindent and didn't let anyone change my mind.
