Description of service
Removal of four wisdom teeth as emergency procedure, not oral surgery. Total cost: 105.00 exactly. My insurance covered the remaining cost of the procedure - the only payment required was the 100.00 deductible and 5% state tax.
Review of Service
Service was fantastic, especially considering that this was an emergency procedure by a local dentist because I had waited far too long with a broken tooth. I was completely prepared to have a horror movie experience with this, but it went very smoothly. Dentist was kind and patient, and extremely efficient. Because the extractions were done in a regular dentist office and not by an oral surgeon, I was under Novocain and not general anesthesia. Even being awake for the entire procedure, I'd have to say it was one of my better dentist interactions. And I hate dentists!
Tips
Don't wait until the pain has you passing out! If you know there's a problem, schedule an appointment with a dentist ASAP! Also, if you know someone who's recently had dental work done, ask them where they had it performed. Getting a referral from a friend or family member will go a long way in getting you a fast appointment with the dentist of your choice.
