the Price of Wisdom Teeth Removal

I had two wisdom teeth that were causing me problems and they were removed by our family dentist. The cost was for x-rays, service and follow-up care.

My family has been using this dental facility and the same dentist for over ten years. We have usually been very satisfied with the services we received. I was very nervous about the procedure to remove both wisdom teeth at the same time and expressed this to the dentist when he first examined me and told me what had to be done. He was very patient and totally explained what I should expect. The uncomfortable numbness,, the medications for the pain and the expected recovery time were all discussed.

I was "sore" afterwards but it was expected. The dentist was very professional yet very caring. He made sure that I was feeling OK before permitting me to go home, and provided me some medications and a prescription.

I feel that the cost was fair compared to the amount of work required.

I would advise everyone to schedule regular visits to their dentist and make sure to have the necessary x-rays when necessary. There may not be any visible tooth problems but only an x-ray will gave a full picture of the condition of your teeth.
