Description of service
Tooth Filling. I needed a wisdom tooth filled on the upper left side. Payment was rendered based on fixing the tooth. Administration of anasthetic was included in the price.
Review of Service
The Dentist was one I knew well enough, but who is stingy with the novacaine as some of them can be. It's often difficult for my jaws to get properly numbed up so I've shopped around when I could afford to for a dentist who wouldn't simply try and make me take the pain. For this visit though, price was more important to me, I wasn't in a place where I could afford a new patient visit and to have to pay a premium for the filling or be advised that I needed a root canal. After two shots, he simply said I was going to have to take it, that any more shots weren't going to do any good. It hurt like only a tooth drilling can! When he was finished I realized he hadn't filled in the whole tooth! I was expecting the filling to restore the tooth to a semblance of its original shape, but this was not the case.
Tips
Ask ahead of time what the Dentist's policy is on his/her use of anasthetic. Make sure you are comfortable with their response. I will say that this visit saved me roughly $75 which is why I went to him, but I certainly paid for that "affordabilty".
