the Price of a Dental Filling

I had a tooth where an old filling fell out and had to see a dentist. The filling was lost about two weeks before I actually made it to the dentist. The dentist had to numb my mouth clean the area on my tooth by drilling and put in a new filling.

The service was great. This dentist is relatively new to me this being only the third procedure that I have had done with him. After the initial prick of the needle there was absolutely no pain. The entire procedure from start to finish only took about twenty minutes. I am really satisfied with the result of his work. The tooth can be seen by others when I smile and you can not tell that there is even a filling there. There was no pain when the numbing medicine wore off and the tooth has not given me any problems since the procedure took place.

Finding a dentist that you feel comfortable with makes any appointment much easier to go through. Also if you are like me and do not have dental insurance coverage ask the dentist if there is a discount for paying in cash. This procedure usually costs $75, but by asking for a discount I only paid $50.
