Description of service
I went into a small tattoo parlor that my friends go to and asked how much it cost to get my lip pierced. They told me $50 because my friends are regular customers at the shop. Normally it would have been $65 to $75 dollars. I sat down at a station and they made me rinse out my mouth with mouthwash and the piercer washed his hands, put on gloves and got the sterile needles all ready. First he pulled my bottom lip forward and stabbed it with a really huge needle. He slipped that one out and then put in the hoop I wanted. It was all so fast I didn't even realize he was done.
Review of Service
I felt very comfortable with the piercer and he assured me everything was sterile. He also explained how to care for my piercing and gave me a handout and cleaning products for free. It was quick and not that painful. I asked a lot of questions and he wasn't annoyed and answered all of them.
Tips
Make sure you are being pierced with sterile needles! Watch the piercer take them out of the wrappings so you know it wasn't used before! Please don't change the jewelry until your piercing has healed! This can irritate your piercing and might lead to infections. Don't forget to clean it while it's healing! You don't want a nasty infection because then you will be forced to remove your jewelry and your piercing will have to close.
