I just became of age to legally consent to have my body pierced, so I went to the tatoo shop and had my lower lip pierced The total cost of this service, including the piercing lip ring, was $45.00. The whole procedure only takes about 10 seconds.
Review of Service
Since this was my first piercing, I wasn't sure what a good deal was or what to even look for really. I know I wanted it to be clean, which it was as I chose the cleanest tatoo shop that I could find. I was warned by friends that a dirty shop could not only mess it up, but cause infections. Overall it was a good experience and I have gone back to the same shop to get other piercings as well, so I guess I can say that I would recommend this service providor to friends and family.
Tips
The best thing you could do is get a referral from a friend, or someone else who has already gotten pierced. Just to walk into any place you find could be dangerous, especially for a woman. Also, make sure that the needle and piercing stud are sterile before you do anything, you don't want to get an infection.
