the Cost of Fiber Optic Internet Access

The service offered high speed internet from a cable service provider through a fiber optic network. The provider gave me a modem and ethernet cord with installation. The installation cost $10.00 added onto my bill for that month. The service was 29.99 for the first 4 months and went to 34.99 from there on.

For most of the time the service was very good. The download speeds were very fast and I was able to view any streaming content that was on the internet. The only problem I experienced was that the modem would go out every couple weeks and I would just have to unplug it for 10 second then plug it back in and it would work fine. The installation was very quick (20 Minutes) and the installer did a great job with showing me how to fix common problems and he also made sure made computer was connected to the internet. Overall i was very happy with the service and it allowed me to fulfill all of my web based needs.

Make sure you research all service providers in your area for what prices they have. Also ask your provider about any deals they have going on. Often they have specials,but will only give them to you if oyu ask about them, otherwise you always pay full price. Also, ask them what speed there network runs at and compare that to speeds of other networks.
