the Cost of Fiber Optic Internet Access

Internet access provided through fiber optic cable. Internet services include the ability to search the web, instant message and have up to six email accounts.

This service has been so inconsistent and problematic. Unfortunately, they are the only internet service provider (cable) in our area. The internet service goes down almost daily. The most frustrating part is when it happens when it disconnects when you are in the middle of working on something. The company has come out many times, each time saying that they have fixed the problem only for it to happen again. when it rains or is windy, the service goes out.The customer service department is not customer friendly. We are looking forward to having a competitor in the area to choose from.

Make sure that you have installation completed by the company rather than using the do it yourself kit.

Also always ask for one of the company's technicians to come for the repair work rather than one of their private contractors. Private contractors have not been as skilled in working on different issues.

Ask the company for the introductory price every so often. Current customer's rates continue to rise while lower introductory rates are offered.
