the Cost of Cobblers and Shoe Repair for Men's Dress Shoes

I had my loafers resoled. I had more than worn out these things, they are my favorite shoe ever. While they are a dress loafer, they are so comfortable. I wear them all of time, and they really needed to be fixed, well according to my wife they did. So I took them to the local cobbler, who removed the old worn leather soles and replaced them with new leather soles.

He did a great job! He had them more than a week, though. But he did do an amazing job. There was a line out the door when I got there. Apparently this guy is like the shoe guru of North County. But really there were at least 5 people at this little hole in the wall shop either dropping off or picking up. I am thinking it takes a week to get your shoes fixed because he has to handle customers all day and elves fix the shoes at night.

I think my guy was a little expensive, but he did just an amazing job. I think the extra money was worth it. A cobbler is a great way to get new shoes, without paying new shoe prices. You get the good worn in feeling of old favorites, but with a new looking shoe.
