Description of service
Last summer my friend and I took the ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria, Canada. Our ferry costs was included in a day tour package. Also in the package, lunch, and a tour of the city were included.
Review of Service
The service was excellent. We had an enjoyable time. During the tour of the city, the guide was very knowledgeable of the city and pointed out very interesting sites. He answered all our questions with enthusiasm and of course knowledge. The bus tour took us to the outskirts of the city and surrounding areas. The tour took approximately two hours and at that point we stopped for lunch and a lovely cafe. The food was not the best I had ever eaten and the quantity was small but the atmosphere was lovely. Most others agreed that the food was the least of the tour to enjoy.
Tips
When choosing a day tour, be sure to check with the better business bureau or even with the tourist information center. They can give you the best ones for your money. Make sure you understand exactly what is included in the costs. Will it include snacks, lunch etc.? Be sure to wear comfortable clothing, nothing constricting and good shoes for walking. Might even consider bringing along a snack for yourself.
