Description of service
In the lower right quadrant of my mouth, I needed to have a 4 tooth bridge created due to deterioration due to a genetic disposition towards horrible teeth quality. First prep work, including trimming back gums, extraction of two middle teeth, and shaping the two anchor teeth were created. An in office created temporary bridge was put in so that all the prep work could heal. Two weeks later, I returned to the office in order to get an impression for my permanent bridge. Two weeks after that, the metal framework was sent to my dentists office, and I returned to the office in order for it to be fit in my mouth in order to ensure that it was properly constructed before they built the teeth around it. Finally two weeks later I returned to the office, for the relatively quick procedure of having the permanent bridge installed in my mouth.
Review of Service
This is a very length process, both in terms of how long it takes from start to finish, but also how long you must spend in the chair during most visits. However, everything went smoothly, with no surprises, which I feel is a testament to the skill of my dentist.
Tips
Main tip is to be sure to find a dentist that you are comfortable with on both a professional and personal level, as you will be spending a lot of time with them.
