Rental Car Prices

I rented a car from a nationwide car rental company for a business trip. The trip was to Florida to meet the employees of the corporate office. The trip was scheduled from a Tuesday to Thursday evening, so the car was returned that Friday morning. The cost of the car was about $30 a day, plus $15 a day because I am not over the age of 25. I paid about $10 in taxes, which is 7% in Georgia. Since I have used this rental car agency several times before for business, they gave me a 10% discount. Therefore, the price should have been about $160 instead.

The service wasa excellent! I arrived at the rental car agency at 8:00 AM and was on the road 15 minutes later. The staff was very friendly and always is when I rent a car from the rental company. The only thing I did not like about the company this time was that the outside of the car was dirty so the employee sprayed the car real quickly with the hose and then proceeded to inspect the car for scratches and dents. Spraying the car with water made it harder for the employee to inspect the car properly.

Find a company that you are pleased with and stick with them when renting a car. As was my case, you may receive a discounted rate when renting multiple times.
