Description of service
I needed a rental car to drive from MN down to AR to pick up a aircraft and fly back to MN. So I checked with multiple rental car agencys for a one-way rental. It floored me when I found out what the going rate was for that "luxury" service. I called 4 different rental companys. the price ranged from $400.00 to $750.00. I had to choice, I had to go with one of them so obviouly I went with the cheapest one. When I filled out the application for it the lady asked me for everything and anything as far as my drivers license and proof of insurance, (which I can totally understand why) but then she tried to tell me their insurance plan which was another good chunk of change! I then had to wait for a hour for them to find the car that I was going to take, becuase it has to be a certain one to do the one-way trips. When I was watching the lot guys I was getting a little worried, I was watching them pull old beaters around and I was thinking on god no, there is no way I'm paying this kind of money for that. Luckly that day was one of my lucky days, I got a brand new car. So I went to get in it to leave, the tank was on almost empty, so I went and told the lady at the desk about it, and since I was running out of time I told her I would go do it on my way and just keep the receipt to have it taken off of the final costs. She wouldn't do it, so I had to wait another 20 minutes for the lot guys to fill it up. The car it self was very sweet, had all the bells and whistles, got great milage, and was quick. When I got down there I had a guy at the airport follow me to take the car back to the check-in place. Paid my fee's and was on my way. Had no other problems with them or the car they provided me. Yes it was costly but hey, what are your options?
Review of Service
You average rental provider, vechile was clean but out of gas, they were professional about it though and did take a small price off the total bill for their mistakes.
Tips
search around before you decide, and be clear to them what your intentions are. They offer discounts for certain organizations, and professions.
