the Cost of Pet Sitting

I needed to leave town for a week on a business trip but had no one to watch my sweet dog! I looked in the phone book for dog sitters and they all seemed too over priced and didn't seem to offer the services I expected. A great friend of mine recommended on of her neighbors. I was told she had just started a doggie daycare. I was a little skeptical of the idea at first. Upon meeting with her and seeing how she handled the handful of dogs she already watched. I decided I could trust her with my pride and joy.

When I arrived back home, to my surprised she had also taught my dog a few new tricks. At no extra cost. I was pleasantly surprised. My dog had not been completely house broken but when I arrived to pick him up she had not mentioned any such training to me. I was very shocked when my dog went outside by himself several times that day to take care of his business. I definately used her again several times. I'm considering to have her watch him once a week just to keep up the great learning.

It is great when you can find a dog sitter that takes care and pride in their work and can teach your dog new tricks to make your life a little easier. Now if only my dog learned how to make up the bed and take the trash out.
