Description of service
I needed a house sitter for one week. The house sitter needed to come over twice a day, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. They were to bring in the mail and newspaper every morning and put them on my kitchen table. The dog needed to go out in the yard twice a day. It is a fenced in yard, and the dog needed to stay out about thirty minutes, so it could go to the bathroom. The dog's water dish needed to be refreshed once or twice a day, depending when it needed it. The dog needed to be fed once a day with dry food. The cat food needed to check to see if it needed filling. The cat litter needed changing once in the middle of the week. The fish needed to be fed once a day and the plants needed to be watered twice during the week. At the afternoon visit, the lights needed to be turned on, so it would look like someone was at home. In the morning, they needed to be turned off.
Review of Service
I found an excellent house sitter. She did exactly everything that needed to be done. She actually did extra, by playing catch with the dog every day. I did tip her $25 for the excellent job she did. I was able to trust her in my house and will definitely contact her again in the future.
Tips
Make sure your house sitter is trustworthy. Contact neighbors or friends to see if they have a teenager that is trustworthy. Also contact stay at home moms that are available for this type of service and pay.
