the Cost of Motorcycle Repair

There was some problem with my bike. Whenever there was no acceleration or the accelerator was released for some time. the engine itself turned off. When i reduced the speed, i had to put the bike out of gear and regularly keep on turning the accelerator to keep the engine running. I took it to a local garage and paid $60 for the service.

I received my bike at the promised time. The mechanic told me that there was some problem in the duct that carried fuel from the tank to the engine. That particular pipe was changed adn he also madesome adjustment in a screw that controlled the flow of fuel. I believe that the service was definitely worth the price. However sfter a few months the same problem surfaced again and i am still using my bike inspite of that problem.

I believe that you must first understand the problem and enquire anout the cost of repairing that particular problem from various places before finally taking the bike to a particular garage. The company service stations do offer very good service but they charge too much. So, if you can afford to spend a lot of money, go to the company owned garages only.
