Description of service
I have a motorcycle which I use for pleasure riding. I was having problems keeping it running and then it wouldn't start. After trying to fix it myself I took it into a repair shop for repairs. The $765 was for the repairs to the bike.
Review of Service
The cost was reasonable for the amount of time and parts required to resore it to perect running condition. The engine had a cracked piston and the wiring was also ruined in that compartment. The shop tried to keep me informed as to the problems and the estimated costs. We discussed ways to possible save on the service and they attempted to hold down the costs where possible, yet insure the safety and operation of the vehicle. I felt that this was good service by caring people. I knew tht they were a busy facility but they exceeded the time frame by over a week. I understood the problem but felt they could have had it finished sooner.
Tips
As with any vehicle, car, truck or motorcycle, it is important to keep up the maintenance schedule and pay close attention to any unusual noises or performance problems. Follow a strict schedule for cleaning and checking the condition of the vehicle. If it requires repairs at a shop, check their references and don't only consider that they may quote the lowest price.
