The mechanic at this garage is fantastic, and I recommend him to everybody who needs work done on a bike. He is thorough and thoughtful, and seems relatively honest. The oil gasket should have been replaced a while ago, and he didn't rip me off when he replaced it last summer. He basically only charged me for the part, and didn't rip me off when it came to the labor. I'll always go back to this shop for repairs and maintenance of my Harley, and trust the service will always be exceptional. The work is phenomenal, and really inexpensive compared to other motorcycle shops.

Find somebody you truly trust to work on your bike. If you ride with anybody, see who they take their bikes to for maintenance and repairs. See if it is something that is possible to do on your own, because a lot of the maintenance and repairs are easier than you think they might be. Don't be afraid to negotiate price a little, also. Most mechanics will work with you a little bit on labor costs, so don't be too shy to ask.
