the Cost of Motorcycle Repair

The bike met with an accident, wasn't damaged a lot physically but its gearbox and the engine stopped working because of too much engine oil loss, the gearbox was completely damaged and needed to be repaired and also the engine required minor tweaks and engine oil for smoothness. The gearbox repairing cost nearly $130 because it was completely damaged from the inside. So I had no option but to get the gearbox repaired and it also required cleaning considering the fact that bike was quite old now. So the total costs were $130 for the gearbox repair, $12 for engine repair and the rest as service charges.

The people at the service center did the whole job in front of my eyes so it was all transparent and this is quite necessary if you are a consumer who doesn't want to get robbed of his money. Now the service was good and neat, the only thing that bothered me was the amount I had to pay for the service but then again the damage was also more than what I had anticipated. All i wanted was the bike to be fine and now it is running pretty smoothly.

If you are facing any problems with your bike then make sure you know which part is damaged and you know the respective cost of the repair of that part as well as the cost of replacement and also make sure the service is done in front of your eyes and everything is done transparently.
