the Cost of Motorcycle Repair

When my motorcycle wouldn't start last fall, I had to have it towed to the mechanics shop and fixed. The mechanic looked over everything and had almost instantly figured out what was wrong. The battery on my bike was not working properly and needed to be replaced. The mechanic proved this by putting a good battery on the bike and showing me that it worked perfectly with a new battery. I paid the mechanic a flat $100 which included everything - parts, labor and taxes.

The service was great. It went by so quickly, the actual 30 mile ride to the shop was longer than the time I spent there. I hated having to pay $100 to replace a battery, but I had no clue what was wrong with it and why it wouldnt start. I use this mechanic's service quite a bit and I am always happy with the prices and quality of work I get there.

For motorcycles, you don't want an automobile mechanic working on your bike. Call around to different motorcycle shops to get referrals, or ask around to people you know to get a good referral. You can also check online to see where other people are taking their bikes for repair.
